Respect and Tolerance

Antoinette Corley-Newman, PhD has extensive clinical training and experience in a variety of areas, which include, but not limited to, reproductive health, loss and grief, domestic violence, sexual abuse, substance abuse, and mood and eating disorders. She is a certified grief recovery specialist and had the opportunity to study with Harvey-Benson at Harvard’s Mind and Body Medical Institute, and enjoys working with individuals, couples and leading support groups. Her theoretical approach is integrative with a cognitive-behavioral emphasis, and her doctoral dissertation addressed the cause and effect of prolonged infertility treatment and PTSD, which she will present at the annual national ASRM conference.

Antoinette enjoys working with all individuals and assisting them in their difficult times as well as improving the person’s life through innovative research. She is compassionate and has the ability to explain the psychology behind attachment, and grief and loss. She knows how to analyze the client’s history, evaluate the current situation and develop strategies to assist the client in discovering their inner core truth while gaining safe and healthy coping skills to address lives challenges. She also has a profound ability to help people adjust to the inevitable changes of life span development. 



Understanding Relationships and Parent Workshop

Janelle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (90564) and specializes in adolescent and family counseling. She has studied adolescent culture for the past ten years and understands the current teen landscape. She has worked with various high school populations throughout San Gabriel Valley, providing services for high school students, adolescent groups, and families on campus and in private practice settings. Janelle is currently in private practice in Pasadena, CA.


In addition to providing clinical services, Janelle is a licensed supervisor and enjoys providing supervision for clinicians in training, as well as guest lecturing for various graduate programs in the area.  


Janelle discovered her passion for working with teens while collaborating with Young Life Ministries, where she mentored adolescent women through their high school careers. Transitioning from youth ministry to youth counseling, Janelle provided school-based services for San Gabriel Unified School District.  She then founded the Youth Counseling Program at La Canada Presbyterian Church, where she collaborated closely with youth staff, offering services to many La Canada students and neighboring communities during her four years at LCPC.  She continues to speak for youth groups in the area, as well as provide trainings for staff and parents.


Janelle also specializes in counseling entertainment industry professionals, focusing on issues of resiliency, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and management of the challenges and stressors associated with pursuing a career in the industry.  


Janelle completed her dual Masters in 2010, obtaining a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Fuller Graduate School of Psychology, and a Master of Arts in Theology at Fuller Theological Seminary. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts and Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA.

Healthy Ways to Manage Stress and Anxiety

Tamika Lewis, LCSW is a writer, speaker, and licensed psychotherapist practicing in Los Angeles, California. She provides individual, group, and couples counseling with an emphasis on helping women and teens overcome anxiety, depression, and chronic self-doubt.


As a CBT and EMDR trained clinician, Tamika helps people effectively move through trauma and loss so that they can experience more joy and success. She also offers a unique program for women and teen girls who are eager to gain more confidence and clarity in their lives.


Tamika is a contributor to many publications including Thrive Global, Elephant Journal, Voyage LA, Positively Positive, and She enjoys writing, collaborating with dynamic people, and speaking on topics relating love, relationships, and keys to personal success.

Navigating Social Media and Outside Influences

Sarah Andersen is a Certified Holistic Health and Life Coach for Teen Girls and Young Women. She is certified through the Institute for Integrated Nutrition, Teen Wisdom Inc., and the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute. Sarah has been working with girls and young women for over 10 years through her private coaching practice, The Real Girl Lifestyle. She specializes in working with girls one-on-one, facilitating workshops, and speaking nationally about girl empowerment and GRIT. As Executive Director of The GRACEDBYGRIT foundation, Sarah is on a mission to teach girls that “gritty moments” can make you stronger, and true confidence starts within. Based in San Diego, Sarah loves traveling around the world teaching, learning, and connecting with girls of all ages that inspire her to spread her message.




Mindfulness and Meditation

As the Director of Facilitation at Tools for Peace, Mayme teaches the Stop, Breathe & Think curriculum throughout Southern California through in-school classes, after school clubs, and professional development workshops and trainings. Having taught in diverse settings from graduate programs, hospitals, and elementary schools, Mayme’s experience allows her to find creative and engaging solutions to help her students connect to their innate mindfulness and compassion.

Jazzmyne’s content specifically focuses on body positivity and provides a voice for people who may feel just a little different than standard society. Whether it’s wearing a crop top for the first time or a man rocking a full face of makeup in confidence--she just wants to empower you to be the best you!


NATALIE RODRIGUEZ    @natchristinerod

Natalie Rodriguez is an award-winning writer, director, producer, mental health and anti-violence/trauma advocate based in Los Angeles, CA. In 2014, she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in TV-Film from CSU Fullerton. Since graduation, Natalie has worked with multiple companies, including the Conan O'Brien Show, Opposing Views, CBS, Mandalay Pictures, NowThis News, and others. She was also a panelist at Google, YouTube, Hispanicize and the mental health organization, The Mighty. Her films have screened throughout the U.S. and Internationally like Funny or Die, HollyShorts, NALIP: Latino Lens, Beverly Hills Film Festival, Culver City Film Festival, and more. 


Currently, Natalie awaits the publication of her first young adult novel in 2020, "Elephant," a story about four childhood best friends who uncover a family secret and this year's release of her directorial feature film, "The Extraordinary Ordinary," which she also wrote, produced, and was the executive producer on. The film deals with young adults, mental health awareness, and the aftermath of trauma. Natalie is open to collaborating with other artists and advocates.

Amanda LaCount is a well known hip hop dancer, actress, choreographer, and influencer. She has been dancing since she was 2 years old. In 2015 she moved from CO to LA to follow her dream of becoming a professional dancer and actress. Some of her most notable performances include dancing with Meghan Trainor on RDMA, dancing on The Ellen Show with Keala Settle from "The Greatest Showman", dancing with Disney's "Descendants 2" Cast on DWTS, dancing on 2 Episodes of The Voice, dancing in Katy Perry's "Swish Swish" music video feat. Nicki Minaj, her own National Dance Tour "Amanda LaCount Live" and an Australian Dance Tour "Amanda LaCount". Amanda has her own movement #breakingthestereotype which promotes body positivity and the belief that any "body" can be a dancer. Amanda's passion is dance, but her goal is to inspire others to follow their dreams.

Jolie Brownell is a 19 year old, award winning Blogger of Me Too Girl, Speaker, and Author or "Me Too" - a collection of quotes, messages, and poems on four main topics: Body Acceptance, Confidence, Goal Setting, and Healthy Relationships. In the past year, Jolie has spoken to hundreds of women/girls in Portland OR on loving themselves, believing in themselves, and going after their dreams. She has also received the FoundHER's Award in NYC for her work with local Portland girls through her Me Too Girl workshops and partnerships with Girls Inc., I AM THAT GIRL, Produced By Her, ChickTech, and other girl empowering organizations.


MADDISON BULLOCK   @maddisonbullock

Maddison Bullock,  an actress, producer,  writer, and coach. After many years in the world of Women’s Competitive Figure Skating Maddison entered a prosperous career as an actress and professional show figure skater. You've likely seen her on NBC, ABC, Tru TV, and even Netflix.  She has headlined in front of crowds of thousands as a professional ice skater and she's made dozens of TV and film appearances over the course of her career. She continues to be a featured media personality. NBC Olympics featured Maddison's feature film, 'ICE: the Movie,' as one of the must-see figure-skating films. The film has received global recognition both inside and outside of the skating community for its themes of good sportsmanship, family values, and artistic excellence.  Maddison has produced and written several films since ‘ICE: the Movie’ and continues to impact the figure skating community through her ‘Acting for the Ice’ Workshop in which she covers such invaluable building blocks for young performers and athletes, including; overcoming stage fright, finding and celebrating your own artistic voice, and working together in creative teams to create art that impacts others. She finds time to give back by serving as a young girls' ambassador for the anti-bullying organization, Boo2Bullying and volunteering with the Young StoryTellers program in Los Angeles.




Victoria-Elizabeth is a 14-year-old actress who strives to educate, enlighten and empower her peers to elevate an inclusive environment. As a Boo2Bullying ambassador, Victoria-Elizabeth has had the opportunity to speak out against bullying, its consequences and prevention at various elementary, middle and high schools, at public events, and on social media. 


Victoria-Elizabeth is a leader in her community, including but not limited to her receipt of the Directors Award from California School of the Arts and her role as class president. Additionally, her involvement in feeding the homeless and her passion to increase the awareness of  animal rights has lent her a platform to enlist many of her peers and to begin forming the non-profit organization "GraceGives."
