Brianna is an 18-year-old actor, poet, filmmaker, and mental health advocate who is dedicated to cultivating safe spaces for connection. The Youth EmpwowHERment Sleepover is the product of Brianna’s own mental health journey. Prior to relocating to Los Angeles in 2016 to pursue Brianna's acting career, Vanessa was the director of a nonprofit private school in Charlotte, NC. She has also worked as an executive assistant, business manager and was the co-founder and president of a national children’s franchise. Vanessa is passionate about giving back to the community and plans to use her experience to assist Brianna in making the Youth EmpowHERment Sleepover a success. She and her husband Jehri also have a 23-year-old son, Christopher.
Most recently, Elisia served as VP, Global Events for Tribal Planet/Tribal Brands for over a decade. She's also worked for several major record companies and artists. Elisia is a San Francisco Bay Area native and even after touring the world, she is proud to still call it home. She holds a BA in Business Management and Communications, is a Certified Life Coach, Certified Domestic Violence Counselor by the state of California, APSATS trained, a volunteer for One Mom’s Battle, and is the founder of The Pink Phoenix Project, a nonprofit supporting single moms surviving breast cancer. Elisia is also the creator of The Bushido Bunch, a collection of short stories that teach children about diversity, virtues, and self-empowerment through martial arts. She's a single mom to a 12-year-old son and enjoys volunteering, concerts, surfing, and jiu-jitsu.
Michelle is an ICU nurse caring for both adult and pediatric ICU patients for Valleywise Health Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. She holds a BSN, is certified in Trauma Nursing, CRRT, PALS, ACLS, ABLS and is currently studying for her MSN. Before becoming a nurse, Michelle owned and operated a licensed in-home child care facility and a wedding planning business. Since moving to Phoenix, she created a high school/competition cheer program, where she worked with young girls from the ages of 14 to 18, helping to build strong minds, self-esteem and life skills. Michelle is a natural born caregiver and believes that being a nurse affords her the opportunity to care for and advocate for her fellow human being every day. She is very passionate about the protection, guidance, and direction of all young people. A San Francisco Bay Area native, Michelle and her husband, David moved to Phoenix in 2005. They have three sons, ages 32, 22 and 19. She is also a loving and proud grandmother to 2 beautiful grandsons ages 2 and 3 months old. When Michelle is not working or studying she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
Michaela Mahoney is a talent representative, producer, and marketing creative who has spent the last four years seeking out opportunities to work with women and creatives on projects with purpose. Her past advertising experience includes student campaigns for Adobe, Tinder, and varied start-up projects.
Since graduating college in the summer of 2021, she has devoted her time to celebrating young artists, working on producing projects, and honing her marketing skills. She is thrilled to be a part of the YES team.
